From SharePoint to your Digital Workplace
In my experience, i have seen many users lost inside SharePoint, their company choosed SharePoint for many functions like News Feed, Data Storage, Workflows and Collaboration but there is no any changement management so users are totally lost.
We start to see some very interesting tools launch out to improve SharePoint to become your real Digital Workplace like Unily or Powell.
I will not talk about Unily because i don't have experience on it, about Powell trust me it's really a good product to improve your users effeciency and finally !!! They can have an easy interface to access to all functionnalities of Office 365 in the same place (no need to switch to many windows).
When i discovered Powell almost one year ago, i found a good product but like SharePoint, two things were missing for me : Change Management and Governance.
Many projects fail because companies don't think Change Management and Governance are important.
So this time i decided to make my own Digital Workplace Offer with these three components :
Office 365 with Powell
With many modules
Company Communication : Company informations, Events, Documents, Poll ..
HR Department Module : Job offers, HR Documents, Hr Events ..
IT Department Module : IT informations, Events, Documents, Contacts..
My Dashboard : Users acces their emails, calendar, planner activity, last documents and more
Changement Management activities
Governance activities
Usually i don't talk much of my professional activity but really this time i'm very proud of the solution i designed to i wanted to share informations about it :)
